Grippers & Vulcan

Palm tear on the right hand was still too tender for me to close anything harder than my 182 lbs Elite. I was afraid to tear the thin newly grown skin on it to really go for the max. I decided to work on wide set closes on the Vulcan instead, going up to L16 close and and good attempt with L17. Then I went back to L16 and microloaded with rubberbands until I reached a limit close. With the poor handle positioning of the wider set, L17 is tough.

I returned to my top MMS form with left hand, closing the 182 lbs Elite. 185 lbs #3.5 is still too tough for left hand, so I did plenty of BFN-work with that gripper. I did negs with the Vulcan as well for lefty.

Finished with plenty of Imtug-work for bottom two fingers and wrapped up the session with 1 kg shot rotations, palms down and palms up for multiple sets.

Good workout with left hand but I KNOW I could have done something good with my right hand as well if the palm was up to it today. If my left hand functions at it’s best, then the right should be good for something better at the same time. I will have to wait a few days to be able to max out. Makes me mad!
