New Beef Builder’s
I just got the calibrated numbers on my new Beef Builder-grippers. Calibration turned out good numbers, I’m really happy about the difficulty of these 3 grippers.
BBE / 76.5 kg / 169 lbs / rating =3.32
Great gipper for left hand!
BBSE / 89.5 kg / 197 lbs / rating = 3.80
I have now two Super Elites, which are both tough ones, both of them have been calibrated at 197 lbs. The difference between the old and new BBSE is the sweep. It is easier on the new BBSE, making it more comfortable to set. The new BBSE shall be my shorter term goal now, instead of the older one. It is great to have two grippers of the same calibrated poundage, but a different feel. This allows for a small jump after I’ve closed the new BBSE. This is my favourite gripper now.
BBGE / 91.5 kg / 202 lbs / rating = 3.88
This Grand Elite is great. I was expecting it to be tougher, going over 215 lbs, but it turned out be a bit easier, which makes it a good jump after my Super Elites.
I was lucky with these grippers, just what I wanted!

I don’t really get it, you must have been doing something wrong in your calculatings.
BBE / 76.5 kg / 169 lbs / rating =3.32
BBE / 136 kg / 300 lbs / rating =3.32
is that what you mean?
BBSE / 89.5 kg / 197 lbs / rating = 3.80
BBSuper Elite 154kg 340 lbs
BBGE / 91.5 kg / 202 lbs / rating = 3.88
BB Grand Elite 165.5 kg 365lbs
captains of crush
#3 = 280lb = 127 kg
#4 = 365lb = 165 kg
1 lb = 0.45359237 kg
with the rating you mean the Captains of Crush scale right?

No, I haven’t done anything wrong, these are numbers based on RGC-calibration, not anything to do with the wild “guesstimated” numbers IronMind or BeefBuilder manufacturer gives to their grippers (those are the numbers you are referring to).
Ratings are on the CoC-scale.
I see that you are not familiar with the RGC-calibrator, look here for more info if you are interested and I’m sure you’ll understand after reading more about the topic:

Briefly explained, the numbers I have are measured from the tips of the handles and this method is quickly becoming more popular among people who are serious about grippers.
